European Privacy Statement
This European Privacy Statement (the “Statement”) applies to the processing of personal information relating to identified or identifiable individuals located in the European Economic Area (EEA) (“Personal Data”) by Virtutec BV | Prins Bernhardstraat 1A-208 | 9251 GJ Burgum, The Netherlands, as well as all other Virtutec entities acting as data controllers under EU law (i.e. those entities that decide on the purposes and means of data processing).
Virtutec considers your privacy an important matter. When processing your Personal Data, Virtutec will therefore comply with the applicable privacy rules, including from May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”). To achieve this, Virtutec has adopted internal policies and measures to ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements and that your Personal Data is processed with respect and care, using appropriate technology.

Processing of your Personal Data
Virtutec, as part of its activities and dealings with you, may collect and process Personal Data, such as your identification and contact details and information related to your surfing behaviour.
You may be asked to provide your Personal Data at any time you interact with Virtutec, for example when you request catalogs of our products and services, sign up or subscribe to our newsletters or other communications from us, order our products and services or visit our website.
Virtutec needs this Personal Data to conduct its business and to comply with its legal and contractual obligations, such as for example:
- the promotion (including direct marketing) of our products and services;
- the sale, packaging, delivery and billing of our products;
- after-sales services, maintenance and help desk support;
- fraud prevention and other legal requirements imposed on us; and
- improving our website and other online services.
You are not required to provide any of your Personal Information that we request from you, but in some cases we may not be able to provide you with our products or services, or answer any questions you may have without us providing your information. Process personal data.

Virtutec may also process Personal Data for other lawful reasons, for example to comply with its legal or regulatory obligations, to perform the contract to which you are a party, to protect your vital interests or those of another individual, or because of its own legitimate interests unless your interests or fundamental rights and freedom override.
The period during which Virtutec will use and store your Personal Data will depend on the type of Personal Data to be processed and will be communicated to you on a case-by-case basis. In no event will Personal Data be retained for longer than is necessary to fulfill the stated purposes and Personal Data will be deleted after that period, unless Virtutec is required by law to keep it for a longer period.

Transfer of your Personal Data to countries outside the EEA
Virtutec may provide access to your Personal Data or transfer your Personal Data to:
- its affiliates;
- subcontractors and other service providers involved in the provision of our products and services (including packaging and transport companies, financial institutions and insurance companies);
- government agencies where such disclosures are required by applicable laws and regulations;
- to potential or actual buyers in the context of business activities that affect our group, such as mergers and acquisitions.
Where such access or transfer is made to a country outside the EEA that does not provide an adequate level of Data Protection, it will only be with your express consent or under another applicable derogation for specific access or transfer, or if a more systematic and large scale access or transfer must take place, on the basis of a contract incorporating the relevant EU standard contractual clauses (SCC) and concluded by the data exporter and the data importer (the applicable SCC are available at http:/ /ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/international-transfers/transfer/index_en.htm). Your rights in relation to our processing of your Personal Data
You have the right to request access to your Personal Data processed by us and to have it corrected or deleted, unless Virtutec is required by law to retain this data. You also have the right to restrict our processing of your Personal Data or to object to such processing, under the conditions and within the limits set out in the GDPR.
The aforementioned rights can be exercised by sending a request to that effect to support@salcon.nl.
In some cases Virtutec can help you by providing you with information on how to access and update your Personal Data so that you can do it yourself.
When responding to your request to exercise the aforementioned rights, Virtutec may ask you to provide proof of your identity. Virtutec may refuse requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive, in particular due to their repetitive nature.
